On June 8, a scientific meeting exploring the topic of “Recognition and treatment of common pediatric diseases” was held successfully at MIT University.

The University Board, heads of faculties and departments, faculty members from the School of Health Sciences, and over 100 students from MIT University attended the event. Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, MMed. – Deputy Director of Dong Nai Pediatric Hospital, shared insights on the recognition and treatment of pediatric diseases.

Through the speaker’s presentation, MIT University students raised insightful questions, seeking clarification from the speaker.

Hoang Thanh, a first-year student majoring in Pharmacy, was among those who posed questions to the speaker and shared their thoughts:

“My question was practical, and when the speaker answered it, I learned something new and understood that I have to care for others more attentively. By paying attention to behaviors and symptoms, I can identify someone’s illness and take appropriate actions.”

After the conference, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia shared his impressions of visiting MIT University Vietnam for the first time: “I am very impressed with the spacious and prestigious environment at MIT Uni. The faculty and staff of the university are very friendly. I am surprised by the significant turnout and enthusiastic participation of MIT Uni. students.

He also praised the students for their dynamism and eagerness to learn, expressing his desire to return to the university for future events.
